George Townley

George Townley is an illustrator and designer based in London with a passion for capturing architecture and the spirit of Los Angeles. Growing up in Northern England, surrounded by grey and dreary surroundings, George turned to art as a means of escape, finding joy and inspiration in bringing these vibrant worlds to life.

This passion blossomed during a study abroad program in San Marcos, California, where the sunny, laid-back environment of Southern California completely transformed his style. This experience ignited a lifelong fascination with Americana and the unique charm of Los Angeles, which has since become a defining feature of his work. Through his art, George hopes to spark nostalgia and inspire others to find their own way to escape and dream.
